I have been working on photography while on the trip and thought this would be a cool way to follow my progress and talk about the trip day by day. I will stick with only one shot per day. These are all taken on our Olympus OM-D 5. We only have two lenses with us, the M.Zuiko 17MM 2.8 and a Panasonic 150-300 4.0-5.6 Zoom. The micro 4/3rds format is new to me, but the size of the camera combined with the quality of the pictures made it an easy choice for an around the world trip.

Peter and I just took a walk around our new home town of Montalcino. This is what Christmas looks like in a small Italian Village way past tourist season. We are thrilled to be here with the locals.
